We are delighted to announce that we have been selected to receive funding from the Co-op Local Community Fund. It means that when members buy Co-op branded products and services, the Co-op will give 1% as a contribution towards our project to stamp out disability hate crime. The more support we get, the more funding we could receive. So if you’re a Co-op Member, log in to your Co-op Membership account and choose us. If you’re not a member, please join and support us! visit www.coop.co.uk/membership and make us your cause by March 2017. Text KDCS01 to 70070 ‘Transforming Adult Social Care’ sets out Knowsley’s priorities for the next three years. Faced with increasing demand for services coupled with continued cuts to funding, the Council has developed a plan which focuses more on prevention, early intervention and helping people access support from their local communities instead of relying on traditional services. Key to this will be the provision of good, up to date information so that people can make decisions about the care and support they need to stay well, maintain their independence and be safe. To help with this, the Council is developing Live Well Knowsley, an online directory of services. Look out for news of its launch on our website, Facebook pages and Twitter feed.
